Being a mom shouldn’t stop you from getting outdoors, and neither should your clothes! I recently tested out some pieces from Title Nine and put them to the test while road-tripping with my boys. I was looking for pieces that would fit my changing body after just having my second son a few months ago– pieces that would fit me in my current stage but also months and years from now. I wanted pieces that would be durable enough for the hiking trail with two kids but also cute for everyday life. Motherhood is busy enough, so having pieces that are multifunctional is a must and Title Nine has a lot of great clothes for postpartum adventures.
What I love most about all the pieces I tested out was that they had give, meaning I didn’t feel like I had to try and fit into clothes that just aren’t meeting me at my current postpartum stage. Each piece either had an elastic waistband, a loose fit or made with material that moved with my body. The best part about these pieces? They are truly perfect for EVERY BODY. Every woman, mother or not, should feel comfortable on their adventures.
This post is sponsored by Title Nine, but opinions are all my own.
The Pieces I Wore
Below are the Title Nine pieces I was able to test out on trail, around camp and in town during a 10 day road trip. One thing I really loved about all these pieces was how little wrinkles they showed after being packed away in my luggage. Whenever I pulled out a new piece, I didn’t have to worry about how wrinkled they looked. They not only hold up for the outdoor adventures I took them on, they withstood the test of a suitcase.
The pieces were also easily interchangeable so I could wear them multiple times and multiple ways, which means less clothing to pack, because I had enough to worry about with two little kids to pack for.
Cordillera Hiking Skort
Who doesn’t love a good hiking skirt? I know I love clothes that make me feel a little more girly on trail, and the Cordillera Hiking Skort does just that. It is made from the Title Nine ClambRâ„¢ fabric, so it’s durable, functional and has plenty of stretch. It also comes in multiple colors!
The Cordillera Skort also has six pockets! Pockets are always a must, but especially as a mom juggling all the things. Having so many options means I can keep things from keys and phone to my son’s favorite rock of the day all handy.
Headlands Ribbed Long Sleeve Tee
Dare I say it? The Headlands Ribbed Long Sleeve Tee is as good as, if not better than, a wool base layer! And better yet, it’s cute with the ribbing detail. This is one of those pieces that can take you from the hiking trails to town flawlessly. I’ve worn it numerous times now both hiking and as my everyday shirt out with my kids around the city.
I wore it on a desert hike in the heat and the material doesn’t leave you smelling like some fabrics do after hiking. One of my favorite parts about this long sleeve tee is the neckline. I found it extremely comfortable and flattering, making it a piece everyone should have in their closet! It comes in a handful of color options so you can stock up on them!
Evelyn Jumpsuit
The Evelyn Jumpsuit is the ultimate piece for any mom who wants to nurse! It features a zipper front so you can easily feed your baby anywhere. What I love most about this piece is that it’s stylish for running around town, but functional and durable for outdoor adventures.
It’s made with Title Nine’s ClambR™ fabric, making it breathable, durable and stretchy. The jumpsuit is perfect to use during the postpartum stage because it fits a changing body so well. And as a postpartum mom, finding clothes that will make me feel confident and comfortable is so important. It comes in three beautiful colors as well!
Jett Tee
The Jet Tee is an everyday staple piece for any mom. It has a boxy fit, so it’s comfortable to any body type. Because it’s cropped, it is easy to pull up, making it a great nursing friendly piece as well! I found it easy to pull up even whilewearing a carrier, which is always an added bonus to any piece of clothing! I was also a big fan of it being boxy because loose fitting clothes just feel more comfortable postpartum.
The Jett Tee comes in multiple colors as well as a tank top version. I love that it can be worn as more of an athletic shirt or as an everyday tee around town.
Scout High Rise Ankle
The Scout High RIse Ankle pant is a perfect mom pant. They have an elastic waist and a tie front so you can easily cinch the waist in to meet your comfort. It has five pockets, one of which is a secure zipper pocket, to hold all your must-haves.They are made from durable ripstop cotton yet have flexibility to move and keep up with all your adventures as a mom.
The Scout High Rise Ankle Pant comes in four colors, but if you love them like I do, they also have a short and skirt version! The possibilities are endless with this line from Title Nine!
Why Title Nine?
As a mom and woman, I love supporting female-owned brands. Title Nine’s name comes from an important amendment, Title IX, which requires gender equality in education. So its name comes from the law stating women cannot be stopped from becoming any type of athlete they want, because all women should be allowed to equally chase after their athletic goals. As a mom, I want my kids growing up knowing I am capable of anything I set my mind to. I want them to see me accomplish goals and try hard things. I want them right there with me as I summit mountains and bike new trails and Title Nine helps women do just that.
Title Nine not only is founded by a woman, it helps support and grow other female run companies! They give back in two big ways: The Mover & Makers Program and Pitchfest. These two programs help other women in business and female-owned companies. When you shop at Title Nine, not only are you purchasing clothing that is built to last, you are investing in females making a difference in the world.
TItle Nine designed and sells their own clothing, but they also sell products from other amazing outdoor brands. This means you can find amazing pieces from other companies you may have never heard of before (smaller female-owned companies to larger outdoor brands) as well as pieces from Title Nine.
In Conclusion
Whether you’re looking for the next best pair of hiking pants or an extra warm down coat, Title Nine has a little bit of everything you need to adventure as a woman and mom. Not only are the clothes functional and cute, but it’s a company you can stand behind. So where will your clothes take you next?
Happy Adventuring,
Elizabeth
